Kim Baker - Running for Daniel
Story
I'm competing in a half marathon as part of the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2014 and I'm hoping to raise much needed funds for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. I am running for my nephew Daniel who has Cerebral Palsy and faces many challenges each and every day. This challenge for me is minimal compared to the obstacles that Daniel faces each day and with such courage.
So, on September 21, I’ll be sweating it out and doing my best to complete a gruelling 21km course over the Harbour Bridge, around Sydney's CBD and finishing at the Opera House steps.
I am honoured to be a part of this amazing race and helping a great cause, and I’d really appreciate your support in this endeavour.

Cerebral palsy affects one in every 500 children born in Australia, is a permanent disability that affects movement and is the most common physical disability in childhood.
