Story
Hi Guys,
I'm taking part in the Blackmores Half Marathon this September and hoping to raise much needed funds for Diabetes NSW
I’m going to be sweating it out and doing my best to complete a gruelling course over the Harbour Bridge, around Sydney's CBD and finishing at the Opera House steps- 21.1 kilometers of pain...but all for a good cause!
Diabetes is the fastest growing chronic disease in Australia, with one person being diagnosed every five mintues.I am very lucky to see first hand, the positive impact Diabetes NSW has on the lives of the many Australians suffering from diabetes, and the support given to their families. From empowering individuals through education, exercise and health services, to fostering support networks, Diabetes NSW helps people living with (or at risk of) diabetes every step of the way.
Please help me support such a great cause, even a few dollars will go a long way.
