Motor Neurone Disease Research - Carola and Sue
Story
Carola and I are taking part in the Blackmores Sydney Half Marathon 2014 and thought while we are out there running why not try and raise some funds for Motor Neurone Disease.
We chose this charity as someone I know has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, and we thought this could be a way of raising some funds to support research into the disease.
This person has helped me with my running and I am constantly reminded of him whilst I am out pounding the pavements. As he once told me - "all you have to do is keep putting one foot in front of the other".....
This September we will be sweating it out and doing our best to complete a gruelling course over the Harbour Bridge, around Sydney's CBD and finishing at the Opera House steps...
We are looking forward to the challenge as well as contributing to a great cause, and we would really appreciate your support in this endeavour.
