Howdy,

I've muscled up and entered the Sydney Marathon this September!  Training has already kicked off and i'm getting pretty pumped.  I invite anyone who'd like to join in on raceday to participate, there are different events ranging from 9km to 42km.  It would be great to get a crew together and raise some funds for a good cause.  For me; I am dedicating my training and race-day effort to my mum.  If i can tap into just an ounce of the courage she possessed i think i can give this thing a good shake.  I've decided to donate to the 'Cure for Cancer Foundation Australia' but really its more about being grateful for what we have in life and to use the opportunity for the greater good....curing cancer isn't a bad start!  So any donation would be great if you can spare a dollar, as i said though; why not get involved and have a run too? I expect a few post race recovery beers to go down afterwards if thats any further incentive!
